The Green Belt refers to the protection guidelines of our green spaces that seems to have been reversed in recent years in continuing urban sprawl. This piece suggests a dawn where colour has been exaggerated to the point of seeming almost sickly in its beauty.
Like the others in this colour series, I was most interested in capturing some sort of dynamic movement through a single brushstroke to generate a sense of energy. The manipulated colours have a basis in reality, but are intensified.
