Trunk Road V

£2,250.00

‘Trunk Road V’. This painting is one in a series of pieces that developed from figuration to abstraction and included pieces such as ‘After Winter’ & ‘Event Horizon’, sometimes reusing some acrylic panels from different paintings. It includes 2 landscapes presented on the different panels at 90 degree perpendicular angles.

I used to commute down this little country road part of the week heading into London to teach as it is a little rural cut through to the motorway at 7 in the morning. I went back there during the daytime on my studio days where it reverted to a deserted back road. I find these human incursions into nature fascinating particularly how the energy completely changes in time.
